Kota coaching dominates NEET, bags 8 spots in top 10
Allen students also bags 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10th ranks
Once again Kota has proved its dominance in the medical entrance examination dominated in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exams. Students of coaching institute of Rajasthan bagged 8 ranks in top 10 spots marking a indelible mark. Nalin Khandelwal of Jaipur bagged the top position while Bhavik Bansal of Delhi secured second rank in the exam held for admission in leading medical colleges across the country.
Allen Career Institute director Brajesh Maheshwari said that besides top 2 rankers, Allen also produced 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 10th ranks. Swastik Bhatia of Faridabad and Anant Jain of Meerut secured 4th and 5th positions respectively. Raghavendra Bhat from Nashik, Dhruv from Lucknow, Mihir from Dehradun and Raghav Dube from Hoshangabad were others who secured top 10 ranks.
“Allen students have once again proved that they can make impossible possible with sheer hard work and determination,” he said.
The topper Nalin Khandelwal said that he owes his success to his parents and teachers at Allen Institute.
“I worked very hard studying 8-10 hours a day. My teachers at Allen also helped me whenever I had doubt. My brother is studying MBBS in Jodhpur,” he said.
Allen director Brajesh Maheshwari said that around 15.20 lakh students registered for NEET this year. Out of which over 14.10 students appeared in the exam conducted across 154 cities. In this exam, which conducted in 11 languages, more than 3.51 lakh boys and 4.45 lakh girls qualified to take admission in leading medical colleges across the country.
For general the cutoff percentile was 134 and for OBC, SC/ST, it was 107. For physically handicapped general candidate, the qualifying percentile was 120 while OBC, SC, ST in this category, the percentile was 107.
